Lots of Echo's!

Well, our movers came today and picked up everything. Originally, they were scheduled to come yesterday.. but then called and said they were having some issues with their truck so it was rescheduled for this morning. Everything went very smoothly and everything should be arriving to Thomas by tomorrow morning (apparently they'll be driving through the night.. eek!).

So I clearly have not made the wisest decisions in my blog names/website names and now I am having a little bit of an internal struggle. I used to blog on "Tucked Away in GA" and now, for whatever reason, I cant get access to anymore to add new post. I have have this one - "Taking on Texas" and now we wont BE in Texas anymore. Therefore, I think I'll probably be making a switch to a "neutral" named blog. Or I may just keep this one and change the name. Either way- be on the lookout! I'm slightly anal retentive and will not be able to continue to blog from "Taking on Texas" when I no longer live here.

It's extremely quiet in our apartment. I've probably already said this once or twice but Im very thankful that I decided to fly Wendy back with me! She's very nice company to have and definitely gives me a reason to WANT to return to the empty apartment (which oddly enough smells like broccoli when you first enter.. movers leave behind a odd stinch? Not sure.. but I'll be investigating the fridge tomorrow to be on the safe side. I certainly don't want to have the apartment that smells like broccoli upon entering).

I have noticed on facebook that some people have been raving about the show Parenthood. I havent ever watched it.. due to the fact that I feel like I already watch too many other shows. However, seeing as I have a whole lot of time on my hands recently, I've started watching it on Netflix because its available instantly. Let me just tell you.. its addictive and I love it! Much like Modern Family with real day to day issues and a whole lot of humor. I've thoroughly enjoyed catching up on the first 2 seasons.

Thomas and our friend Matt in Georgia are currently tiling our laundry room. He's been doing some random stuff this week to get the house ready before our stuff arrives tomorrow. So the main 3 things on my list were cleaning the carpets.. and new flooring and paint in the laundry room (it was looking pretty dingy). I would of been perfectly happy with a new linoleum.. however, they chose to take on the tile project. So I am hoping for the best but expecting the worst. Just kidding.. I know they'll do just fine. It IS only a 5x5 room :)

Other than that, there is a WHOLE lot of nothing going on here. Wendy is napping and I'm hanging out on our dining room table/bed/couch :) I've got a bit of a "make shift" room to get me through the next two weeks. Its pretty cozy for what it is.

Hope everyone has a good week! Maybe January will start to show its ugly face instead of all this spring crazy-ness.
